DSWD advises AICS beneficiaries to reschedule financial assistance claims amid transport strike

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has advised individuals scheduled to process their financial assistance through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City to reschedule their visits due to the transport strike from March 24 to 26.

In light of the anticipated disruption in public transportation, the DSWD assured beneficiaries they could visit the office after the strike to process their claims without delays or penalties.

The AICS program provides financial aid to individuals and families in crisis, including assistance for medical, burial, and transportation needs.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to plan their visits after the strike to avoid inconvenience.
