Camille Villar intensifies senate campaign in vote-rich Caloocan, emphasizes youth empowerment and digital reforms

With the national elections fast approaching, Deputy Speaker and senatorial candidate Camille Villar ramped up her campaign efforts in Caloocan City — one of the most vote-rich areas in Northern Metro Manila — through a motorcade alongside Caloocan Representative Oscar “Oca” Malapitan.

The motorcade drew enthusiastic crowds as Villar and Malapitan made their way through key barangays from City Hall to the historic Monumento Circle, receiving a warm welcome from residents and supporters.

In a brief dialogue with local leaders, Villar emphasized the need to uplift and empower the youth, calling on communities to amplify young voices in governance and public policy.

“Our youth must be part of the national conversation — not just tomorrow’s leaders, but active participants today,” said Villar, who is the youngest contender in the May 12, 2025 senatorial race.

Villar also laid out her legislative agenda centered on future-ready policies, with key focus areas including the digital economy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship — particularly among the country’s younger population.

With less than two months to go before election day, Villar continues to make rounds across the Camanava (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas) area. She recently conducted market tours in the Camarin area to connect directly with residents and strengthen grassroots support.

The CAMANAVA blitz forms part of Villar’s broader campaign strategy to bring her vision for inclusive, future-oriented governance closer to Filipino communities on the ground.
