TNT on verge of Finals collapse

TNT has surrendered the series lead and is now on the brink of defeat. Worse, the Tropang Giga were losing their cool and seemingly beginning to implode.
What once TNT head coach Chot Reyes labeled as "too much" passion backfired on him as he experienced the full brunt of Poy Erram’s temperament during a heated exchange in Game 5 of their Finals series against Ginebra.
Reyes and Erram got into a verbal altercation – an ugly scene at the TNT bench especially that it happened during a furious 12-2 rally from Ginebra in the third frame of their 66-73 defeat
TNT remained within striking distance but the Tropang Giga looked like an entirely different from that point.
Apparently, Reyes, who attributed TNT’s infighting to "just wanting to win" after Erram also got into commotion with Glenn Khobuntin in their semis series against Rain or Shine, already got fed up with the antics.
“I just got fed up with all the antics so I let him have a piece of my mind,” Reyes told reporters.
“Sabi ko, kung hindi ko siya mapagsabihan, edi siya mag-coach na lang,” he added.
Reyes, however, was quick to put the incident behind as the Tropang Giga look to regroup if they wish to survive Game 6 and force a winner-take-all Game 7.
“We just need to regroup, This is not over. They need four wins to win the championship but like you’ve seen, it’s a tough team that we’re playing,” said the veteran coach.
“We can’t make the mistakes we’re making against the national team — we’re playing Gilas, the first five. It’s tough. We have a very small room for error,” he added.
