LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police said a 20-year-old food stall employee was allegedly gunned down by his former girlfriend in Barangay Market View here on Friday night, March 21.
The Police Regional Office 4-A identified the victim as Carlos Postrado, with a live-in partner.
Postrado was cooking inside his house when the suspect arrived and shot him twice.
The victim died on the spot and the suspect fled onboard a motorcycle driven by a companion.
Police said love triangle is the motive in the killing.
The victim had a heated argument with the suspect regarding their past relationship. The suspect threatened the victim that she would kill him at the most opportune time.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation and manhunt operation against the suspect.
