4 men shot dead in Cebu in 2 days


CEBU CITY – Four persons were gunned down in Metro Cebu on Friday and Saturday.

In Barangay Sambag 2, Cebu City, a 27-year-old man was shot dead by a still unidentified gunman past midnight on Saturday, March 22.

Danilo Albia Tenebroso succumbed to a bullet wound in the head.

Police said Tenebroso and his live-in partner were walking on a road when a man onboard a motorcycle arrived.

The suspect disembarked the motorcycle, approached the victim, and opened fire. The gunman fled.

Three spent shells were recovered from the crime scene.

Around 4 p.m. on Saturday, a 36-year-old man was gunned down in Barangay Quiot, Cebu City.

Police identified the fatality as Mark Anthony Bagtong.

The victim arrived in the area aboard a motorcycle. A few minutes later, a man also arrived and suddenly shot the victim.

In Liloan town, northern Cebu, a 31-year-old man was shot by two motorcycle-riding gunmen around 3:10 a.m. on Saturday.

Jomar Mantuhac Andrino died on the spot from a bullet wound in the head.

At past 6 p.m. on Friday, March 21, a man was fatally shot in Barangay Singsing, Balamban town, Cebu.

Warren Gonzalez Paul, 53, sustained multiple bullet wounds. He was declared dead in the town hospital.

Police said the victim was standing on a bridge when the gunman appeared and shot him.

Police said the assailant was wearing a black jacket and escaped on a motorcycle.
