Viral police officer and vlogger Patrolman Francis Steve Fontillas has reported back to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Thursday, March 20.
According to a statement by the QCPD, Fontillas has submitted his explanations for his actions and absences.
On Friday, March 21, Fontillas was expected to undergo a medical check-up and Neuropsychiatric examination as part of the requirements for Return to Active Duty.
The QCPD added that he has expressed his sincere apology and deep regret for his actions when he reported to Acting District Director Police Colonel Melecio Buslig Jr. and assured that he has learned from his experience and vowed not to repeat such behavior.
On Wednesday, March 19, Fontillas was charged with five administrative cases including grave misconduct and less grave neglect of duty in connection to his absence without official leave (AWOL) since March 6, 2025.

On top of his administrative cases, the QCPD also filed inciting to sedition raps against him for posting videos and speaking against the Marcos administration, the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte, and calling out Philippine National Police (PNP) officials.
