Police arrest Calabarzon's No. 1 most wanted person in Muntinlupa

Police from Muntinlupa City and Perez, Quezon province arrested the No. 1 most wanted person in Calabarzon (Region IV-A) on March 20.

Operatives from the Muntinlupa police’s Cupang Sub-station 7 and Perez municipal police apprehended alias John Kim, 32, construction worker and resident of Barangay Mainit Sur, Perez, in Purok 1 in Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa.

John Kim was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest with no bail recommended issued by Presiding Judge Marylou Meneses of the Gumaca, Quezon Regional Trial Court Branch 62 for three cases of statutory rape and rape.

The accused was turned over to the custodial and detention facility of the Muntinlupa police station pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court.

Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena lauded the successful arrest of the accused.
