With the theme “Merging Aspirations for a Transformative and Inclusive Tourism Industry,” Mati City Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat said the event aims to go beyond traditional discussions by providing a strategic blueprint for advancing the city’s tourism sector.

Rabat said the congress will gather diverse stakeholders, including tourism service providers, cultural representatives, government agencies, utility companies, sports tourism groups, academic institutions, and youth organizations.

She added that this collaboration fosters dialogue, shares insights, and builds stronger partnerships, as the congress will tackle the key topics essential to the growth and sustainability of the tourism industry, offering participants a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaborative planning.

Rabat highlighted the congress’s role in shaping the future of tourism in Mati. “This event is more than just a meeting. It’s a vital move towards ensuring our tourism industry evolves into something more sustainable, inclusive, and impactful.”

As Mati City continues to establish itself as a top travel destination, Rabat said the congress is expected to inspire fresh, innovative initiatives to push the local tourism industry forward through cooperation and strategic development.
