GMA Network wins multiple honors at 12th season of Araw Values Awards

GMA Network, the country's leading broadcast media company, received multiple accolades at the 12th Season of the Araw Values Awards organized by the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines.

The Network's campaigns were recognized across various categories, reflecting GMA’s continued commitment to content that upholds Filipino values.

GMA Integrated News' "Climate Change Series," featured in the primetime news telecast "24 Oras," won the Bronze Award under the Concern for and Preservation of the Environment category. 

Various projects spearheaded by the GMA Sales and Marketing Group were also awarded. 

"Resbakuna," produced in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH), received the Silver Award in the Respect and Care for Life and Dignity and the Rights of All category; "Healthy Juan Season 3: Kalusugan, Kabuhayan, Kapaligiran," also in partnership with the DOH, was given the Bronze Award under the Concern for and Preservation of the Environment category; the "Bida Bawat Bata" series, produced in partnership with Breeze, Tempra, and Alaska, won the Bronze Award under the Reverence for Family Unit or Marriage or Responsible Parenthood category.

Meanwhile, receiving a Certificate of Merit was “Dapat Ganito, Kapuso,” the advocacy campaign by the GMA Sales and Marketing Group, for its “Maka-Diyos” short story under the Love of God and Respect for Religious Beliefs category. The campaign, produced in partnership with Lady’s Choice, Pharex, and Ceelin, highlights Filipino values and traditions through short stories.

“Firefly,” the multi-awarded film produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, was also awarded a Certificate of Merit under the Reverence for Family Unit or Marriage or Responsible Parenthood category. 

Lastly, “Kalikasanovela,” another campaign produced by GMA Public Affairs and GMA Corporate Affairs and Communications in partnership with Nestlé Philippines, was awarded a Certificate of Merit under the Concern for and Preservation of the Environment category. The series comprises four 30-second edutainment videos in the genres of action, drama, fantasy, and horror and highlights the important role of every Filipino as stewards of the planet. 

The Araw Values Advertising Awards is a biennial event that recognizes Branded Communications and Advocacy Communications that promote positive values for social change and values advertising within the industry.
