Fourth suspect in murder of beauty queen, BF nabbed

Police have arrested the fourth suspect in the murder of beauty queen Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend Yitzhak Cohen in 2024.

The suspect was identified as Michael Angelo Guiang, 32, married.

Guiang was apprehended on a warrant for murder at 6 p.m. on March 19 in Barangay San Francisco, Santa Ignacia, Tarlac.

The warrant was issued by Judge Sarah Bacolod Vedaña-delos Santos, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 109, Capas, Tarlac dated March 10, 2025.

No bail was recommended for the suspect.

Guiang is under the custody of the Santa Ignacia MPS for proper disposition.
