A father who repeatedly raped his young daughter for one month in 2024 was arrested by the authorities in Barangay Parang, Marikina City, on Tuesday, March 18.

The Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspect as “Dondon,” listed as the No. 6 most wanted person (district level) in Marikina. He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the acting presiding judge of the Family Court, Branch 7, of Marikina City for four counts of qualified rape of a minor on Thursday, March 13.
Police said the suspect had been repeatedly abusing his own daughter from August to September 2024, prompting her to report him to the authorities.
EPD Acting District Director Col. Villamor Q. Tuliao thanked and commended the Marikina Police for their unwavering dedication to implementing justice.
Lagi nating ipamalas ang hustisya at mahusay na aksiyon laban sa karahasan at pang-aabuso (Those disgusting acts have no place in our society, so salute to our Marikina Police. Let us always showcase justice and excellent actions against violence and abuse),” Tuliao said.
We promise to continue providing protection to all citizens against crimes like this. We will not stop taking measures to ensure the safety of everyone in our community),” he added.
