Over P300,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from 10 suspected drug peddlers in a series of police operations in Bulacan on Wednesday, March 19.

Police said the operations led to the confiscation of 24 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, one brick of suspected dried marijuana, six transparent plastic containers containing suspected dried marijuana, and one pack of rolled dried marijuana wrapped in plastic, assorted drug paraphernalia, and money in different denominations.
Bulacan police director Col. Satur Ediong said the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) Bulacan conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Muzon South.
The operation resulted in the arrest of four drug suspects and the confiscation of around 1,500 grams of suspected marijuana and five grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated value of P214,000.
Also seized were two electric cigarettes containing suspected marijuana oil, one digital weighing scale, one coin purse, and the buy-bust money.
In a separate buy-bust operation conducted by the SDEU of Malolos, Angat, Guiguinto and Marilao, six drug suspects were arrested. Confiscated from them were 22 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P119,720, along with several drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated illegal drugs and money were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 will be filed in court against the suspects, police said. (Freddie Velez)
