2 hurt in Quezon City fire

Two persons were injured in a fire that broke out at a residential area in Moral Street, San Roque 1 Barangay Pag-Asa in Quezon City on Thursday morning, March 20.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the victims as Reggie Caldeo, 37, who sustained a laceration on his left middle finger; and Mary Ann Dela Cruz, 47, who experienced breathing difficulties.

The fire was raised to the first alarm at 9:50 a.m. and was declared under control at 10:00 a.m.

The blaze was extinguished at 10:30 a.m.

According to the initial investigation, the fire started in a bedroom on the 2nd floor of the house.

Arson investigators are still determining the cause of the fire and the total amount of damage to properties.
