2 drug peddlers yield P1.8-M ecstacy, kush in Imus buy-bust

CAVITE â€“ Authorities apprehended two high-value individuals and confiscated over P1.8 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Buhay na Tubig in Imus City, on Tuesday, March 18.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 4A (PDEA 4A) identified the suspects as alias Gi, a 26-year-old freelance graphic designer, and alias Kirstein, a 21-year-old student.

Confiscated during the joint operation of PDEA 4A Special Enforcement Team 1, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office, and Cavite Maritime Police were 1,000 pieces of suspected ecstasy blue pills with an estimated street value of P1,700,000.

Also seized were packs of suspected high-grade marijuana or kush with a total standard price of P157,500 and nine disposable vape carts containing suspected marijuana valued at P22,500.

Alias Gi and alias Kirstein are facing drug charges and are currently detained at the PDEA Region 4A Custodial Facility in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
