1 hurt, 17 families displaced in San Juan fire


A man was injured while 17 families were displaced in a fire that gutted houses on Ibañez Street, Barangay Little Baguio, San Juan City on Thursday, March 20.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the blaze started at 7:11 a.m. and was declared fire out at 8:36 a.m.

 

Meanwhile, the BFP San Juan said the injured man sustained first-degree burns on his body during the fire. He is now in stable condition.

A total of 17 families equivalent to 32 individuals were adversely affected by the blaze.

 

Arson investigators estimate the amount of damages at P900,000. They are still determining the cause of the fire.
