PDEA: P9.6-M worth of ecstasy, shabu seized in Cavite buy-bust

In the aftermath of the Nigerian drug sting, government anti-narcotics authorities seized more than P8 million worth of ecstasy tablets and P1.5 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a drug suspect during another buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that alias Kenneth, 23, was collared on Feb. 28 at around 11:30 p.m. in Barangay Molino II.

Aside from ecstasy tablets and shabu, the operatives also confiscated maroon, neon pink, blue and green powders suspected to be ecstasy during the drug bust.

The operation was carried out by the PDEA Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team 1 and 2, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and Cavite Maritime Police Station.
