President Marcos asserted that his supporters are real people who actively show their support for him and his administration, and not online trolls or “keyboard warriors.”

In his latest vlog uploaded to his social media pages on Sunday, March 2, the President expressed his appreciation for the people who crowd the sorties of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial slate, saying their presence proves the legitimacy of his political base.

The President emphasized that these supporters are not just anonymous social media accounts but real individuals who engage with him personally.

“Ang isa sa mga kinatutuwa ko sa mga rally na pinupuntahan namin ay nakikita ko mismo ang mga sumusuporta sa atin sa Alyansa (One of the things I enjoy about the rallies we attend is that I see for myself the people who support the Alyansa),” he said.

“Hindi lang ito mga keyboard warrior o troll. Mga totoong tao po sila (They are not just keyboard warriors or trolls. They are real people),” he added.

Despite online attacks and misinformation, Marcos said his administration will remain focused on governance.

He also pointed to testimonials from Filipinos who have directly benefited from government projects as proof of his administration’s achievements.

“Isa pang hindi nila pwedeng i-fake ay ang mga tunay na testimonya mismo ng ating mga kababayan tungkol sa mga proyekto at programa ng pamahalaan (Another thing they cannot fake is the real testimonies of our fellow Filipinos about the government’s projects and programs),” he said.

“Kampanya man o hindi, walang pipigil sa pagseserbisyo ng ating pamahalaan (Campaign season or not, nothing will stop our government from serving),” he added.

Critics have long accused the Marcos camp of using social media networks to manipulate public perception, a claim that the President has repeatedly denied.

Meanwhile, the President urged the public to be cautious of disinformation, which he described as rampant during the campaign season.

“Kakambal ng kampanya ay ang mga intriga at batuhang-putik na tinatawag na fake news (Intrigues and mudslinging, called fake news, go hand in hand with campaigns),” he said.
