Another day, another blowout win for Barangay Ginebra.
The Kings continued to assert their mastery of the top seed NorthPort Batang Pier, this time ripping them to shreds, 127-100, in Game 3 of their PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup semifinals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Sunday, March 2.

Not much has changed in the storyline in the contest as Ginebra, like in the previous two games, tore the game apart in the first half and never looked back since to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
Justin Brownlee flirted with a triple-double with 22 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while Jamie Malonzo fired a conference-high 25 built on four triples.
RJ Abarrientos had a double-double of 10 points, 10 assists while Japeth Aguilar had 17 points and seven rebounds and Scottie Thompson with 15.
The Kings hardly skipped a beat even after the two lopsided wins as save from a 7-6 lead that the Batang Pier took, it was practically all Ginebra in the contest.
It was even highlighted by a huge 34-point explosion in the second quarter while limiting NorthPort to just 19 to take a massive 64-40 lead at the break.
Kadeem Jack was the lone bright spot for the Batang Pier with 32 points but hardly had any help his usual partners in Arvin Tolentino and Joshua Munzon limited to just 15 and 5 respectively
