The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has invited a television program contestant so that it may explain to her what the poll body is all about.
Comelec Chairman George Garcia said that he would meet on Tuesday afternoon Heart Aquino, the It's Showtime's "Super Babe" contestant who admitted to not being knowledgeable about the Comelec after she was asked during the question and answer portion of the program on what was her message to the poll body.
The clip of the program went viral on social media even as TV host Vice Ganda described the situation as "bothersome".

"We fully understand her. Maaring madami pa na katulad niya na kabataan o mga Filipino (There might be more youth or Filipinos who are also like her). It is our solemn duty to explain who we are and what we are doing," Garcia said Monday, March 3.
"If she is converted as a believer, then we can perhaps do the same for others. Voters' education is the key," he added.
Asked what was the purpose of the Comelec's invitation, Garcia said that it was for their "full understanding as to why" Aquino had no knowledge about the body.
"It is our failure. We have to immediately rectify," he added.
