P120K of shabu confiscated in Pasay buy-bust ops

A 58 year-old man listed in the Pasay City Police drug watchlist was arrested by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and confiscated from him a total of P121,244 on Feb. 28.

Pasay City Police Chief, Col. Samuel Pabonita, identified the suspect as alias “Kas.” He was arrested in Barangay 178 Zone 19, Pasay City.

Pabonita said a poseur-buyer transacted with Kas leading to his arrest and confiscated from him 17.83 grams of shabu worth P121,244.

He said the SDEU operatives also confiscated from Kas a blue-green coin purse, digital weighing scale, and P1,000 bill used as buy-bust money

Kas was immediately brought at the Pasay City Police SDEU custodial facility after his arrest and charged for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
