4 drug suspects arrested, P408k shabu seized in Parañaque buy-bust

Members of the Parañaque City Police arrested four drug suspects, including three women, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Antonio on Friday, Feb. 28.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as “Jelai,” 24, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI); “Joanna,” 30; “Evalyn,” 31; and “Datu,” 29.

The SPD said the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted a well-planned buy-bust operation that led to their arrest for involvement in illegal drug trade.

Authorities recovered 60 grams of shabu worth P408,000, a black pouch, and two cellular phones.

The suspects are detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and charged for violating Section 5 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
