P170K shabu confiscated in Angono buy-bust

Angono Police officers seized a total of P170,000 worth of shabu from a drug pusher during a buy-bust operation held in Barangay Poblacion Ibaba, Angono, Rizal on Tuesday, March 18.

The Angono Municipal Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), identified the suspect as "Eric," 40. 

It was said that a confidential informant alerted the authorities about the drug-pushing activities, leading an operation spearheaded by the Angono MPS and resulted in the apprehension of the suspect.

Eric yielded 25 grams of shabu during the operation.

He is currently detained at the Angono MPS and is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). (Vincent Brian Gutierrez)
