In a statement released Tuesday, March 18, the UAAP Board of Managing Directors noted that the 6-foot-2 opposite hitter confirmed that Solomon indeed applied and was included in the draft list of the 2025 Korean Volleyball Federation Asian Quota Draft while playing for the Lady Bulldogs.

But Solomon’s decision to pull out her application allowed her to continue competing in the ongoing UAAP season.

Solomon is in her final year with NU as the Lady Bulldogs seek to retain their title. They are currently unbeaten in their first seven games.

“The UAAP remains committed to ensuring the integrity of its competitions and the welfare of its student-athletes,” the UAAP statement read.
