Shortlist for new MRT-3 general manager reaches Palace

A shortlist of who could replace Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) general manager Oscar Bongon has been submitted to the Palace, Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro bared.

"Ang sabi po sa atin ay nakapag-submit na po yata ng listahan, nakapag-submit na po sa PMS at hinihintay na lamang po kung sino po ang maaaring maging susunod na GM sa MRT (We have been told that a list has been submitted to the Presidential Management Staff, and we are only waiting who will be the next general manager of the MRT)," Castro said in a Palace briefing on Tuesday, March 18.

Asked if how many names made it to the list, Castro said she has no personal knowledge about it.

"Wala po akong personal knowledge pero nai-submit na po ito (I have no personal knowledge about it, but the list been submitted)," the Palace Press Officer said.

The Palace official also did not mention why Bongon was relieved from his post.
