A senior citizen was injured in a fire that broke out at Barangay Longos in Malolos, Bulacan on Tuesday, March 18.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire started at around 11:00 a.m.
A senior citizen identified as Lolo Jose suffered second degree burns and was rushed to a hospital along with Lola, the owner of the burnt house, who experienced high blood pressure.
Four fire trucks immediately responded to the area and it took about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire.
A car that was parked in the garage of the house also caught fire.
SFO1 Carmella S. Concepcion, Malolos City fire investigator, said they are still determining the cause of the fire.
