Bong Go urges supporters to advocate ex-president Duterte's return
Reelectionist Senator Christopher “Bong” Go urged supporters from across the country and overseas to continue advocating for Duterte’s return.

“Kung kaya siyang dalhin sa ibang bansa nang ganun, kaya rin siyang pauwiin dito! (If it was easy for them to bring him out of the country, they can bring him back easily here)” Go told the crowd during Davao City’s 88th Araw ng Dabaw celebration on March 16.
Go addressed an emotional crowd at San Pedro Square, where he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and emphasized the need to bring Duterte home.
The senatorial candidate appealed to their supporters not to stop praying and supporting the former leader.
“Ginawa lang n’ya ang kanyang trabaho para sa Pilipino (He just carried out his mandate),” he said as he defended anew the former president’s drug war.
He recalled how Duterte’s administration worked to ensure peace and order in the country, citing stories of families who had felt safer during his term.
“Puntahan n’yo lahat ng embahada! Katukin n’yo! Ipahayag natin, peacefully, ang ating saloobin! ‘Wag tayong tumigil hangga’t hindi nila siya pinapauwi (Go to all embassies! Knock on their doors! Let’s express, peacefully our sentiments. Let’s not stop until they return him here),” he said.
Duterte was arrested last Tuesday, March 11 by authorities due to the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in relation to his crimes against humanity for launching a brutal campaign against illegal drugs.
The former leader, who is now at The Hague in Netherlands, is now facing trial on these charges.
