Baby girl found dead inside sack in Antipolo

A newborn baby girl was found dead inside an abandoned sack in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City early Tuesday morning, March 18.

Based on the initial investigation by the police, a garbage collector found the sack containing the baby near a post along F. Manalo Street.

The garbage man immediately reported the incident to the authorities who recovered the baby's body.

A vendor near the area said he saw two men dropping off the sack at around 1 a.m.

Police said the investigation on the incident is still ongoing as well as the review of CCTV footages near the scene of the crime.
