The Sonicboom immediately recovered from an 83-73 loss to the Seoul Samsung Thunders a day prior and vented their ire on the Sakers, going full throttle for a one-sided affair to improve their record to 27-18.

Rayshaun Hammonds paced Suwon with 26 points and 12 rebounds with three other players scoring double digits. Cagulangan, for his part, provided eight points, two rebounds, and six assists.

After listing his fifth straight double-figure output – including a 34-point production in a loss versus Wonju, Tamayo was held scoreless with just one assist and one steal under his name in 11 minutes of action for Changwon.

And with Tamayo’s futility, Yu Ki-Sang stepped up after tallying 11 points in a losing cause as the Sakers endured their 17th defeat against 28 wins at second.

Meanwhile, the league-leading Seoul SK Knights exacted their revenge on the Wonju DB Promy, 75-63.

The Knights bounced back from their 88-80 defeat to the Promy and stayed at the top with a 37-9 mark.

Ethan Alvano chipped in 12 points on top of five rebounds, four assists, and one steal while former Golden State big man Omari Spellman registered 11 points for the Promy, who settled for a 20-26 card at sixth.A
