Iloilo police confiscate P21-M shabu

ILOILO CITY – Police seized more than three kilos of shabu valued at almost P21 million in 18 anti-drug operations in Iloilo province from March 10 to 16.

“Our intensified operations demonstrate our commitment to fighting illegal drugs and ensuring the well-being of every Ilonggo,” said Iloilo police chief Police Col. Bayani Razalan.

Twenty-five suspected drug pushers were arrested and 49 cases were filed against the suspects.

The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Major Dadje Delima seized shabu worth P7.6 million on March 11 in Estancia town.

The Special Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Balasan Municipal Police Station recovered shabu valued at more than P6 million.
