Veteran actress Delia Razon, grandmother of Kapuso star Carla Abellana, has passed away. She was 93.

Carla confirmed this in an Instagram post on Sunday, March 15. No details were given on the cause of her grandmother's demise.

Delia (real name Lucy May Grytz) was born on Aug. 8, 1931, to a German father and a Spanish-Filipino mother.

Film producer Dona Narcisa de Leon recognized Lucy's talent and assigned her the screen name Delia Razon.

Delia made her film debut in "Krus Na Bituin" under LVN Pictures in 1949. Later, she married Aurelio Reyes. Their daughter, Rea Reyes, married actor Rey "PJ" Abellana, and they have a daughter named Carla.
