The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO), through its Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign, arrested a 17-year-old boy and five other drug suspects and seized a total of P1,915,512 worth of shabu in four separate buy-bust operations across the province within 24 hours.
On Saturday afternoon, March 15, the Tanay Municipal Drug Enforcement Team arrested “Mark,” 17, and “Wendeel,” 18, in Barangay Plaza Aldea, Tanay. Seized from them was a tied package containing around 200 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,360,000.
Authorities also recovered a .45-caliber firearm, a magazine, and five rounds of ammunition from Mark.
At the same time, a 41-year-old man identified as “Angko” was also arrested in Barangay Rizal in Baras during an operation conducted by the Baras Municipal Drug Enforcement Team. Confiscated from him were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 25 grams and valued at P170,000.

On Saturday evening, the Taytay Municipal Drug Enforcement Team arrested “Raz” and “Toto,” both 44, during an operation in Barangay Dolores, Taytay. Seized from them were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 30 grams and valued at P204,000.
Meanwhile, early Sunday, March 16, another operation was conducted, leading to the arrest of “Ron,” 35, in Barangay Pantok, Binangonan. Recovered from him were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 26.64 grams, with an estimated value of P181,152.
The arrested suspects are now in the custody of their respective operating units, while charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared against them.
