TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte--House Speaker Martin Romualdez credited the support of his fellow Warays for the massive turnout witnessed during the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas campaign rally here in his hometown.

Over 100,000 people gathered at Plaza Libertad to hear President Marcos' endorsement of the administration's senatorial candidates, most of whom were on hand for the event.

The unity showed by our countrymen here in Eastern Visayas is prood of our solid support for President Marcos' leadership)," Romualdez said.

(This isn't just a rally--this is a commitment that we will continue the reforms that will strengthen our economy and give each Filipino a better tomorrow.)

The massive political gathering, attended by key national and local leaders, was also seen as a reinforcement of Eastern Visayas’ reputation as a stronghold of the Marcos-Romualdez leadership.

Romualdez, president of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) party, also underscored the administration’s priority programs, including infrastructure development, economic resilience, and social welfare initiatives that have directly benefited the region.

He urged voters to support the members of the Alyansa Senate slate, which vowed to work closely with the President to accelerate national progress.

(These candidates can be relied upon to continue President Marcos' reforms. To vote for them is to vote for more jobs, improved education, and better public service.)
