BUTUAN CITY – Police apprehended 122 individuals in law enforcement operations in Northern Mindanao from March 6 to 14.

Police Regional Office-10 Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Joann G. Navarro said 56 suspected drug pushers were arrested in 46 operations in the campaign against illegal drugs.
“This operation also led the confiscation of 414.513 grams of shabu with a total estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P2,819,888,” Navarro said.
Twenty-six persons were caught and P7,985 in bet money and paraphernalia were seized in 12 operations against illegal gambling.
Thirty-two wanted persons – eight most wanted and 24 other wanted persons – were nabbed.
Eight individuals were arrested and 17 guns were recovered in nine operations against loose firearms. Police visited 479 houses where eight firearms were turned over for safekeeping.
Navarro said smuggled cigarettes valued at P680,000 were recovered in two anti-smuggling operations.
