P448K shabu seized in Makati operation

A total of P448,000 shabu was confiscated from a 54-year-old man during a search warrant operation spearheaded by the Makati City Police on March 12, the Southern Police District (SPD) reported.

The suspect was identified as "Vincent."

Based on the police report, officers from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Makati City Police Station conducted the operation in Barangay Tejeros, Makati City by virtue of a search warrant issued by Makati City RTC Branch 64.  

Vincent yielded P448,000 worth of shabu and other drug paraphernalia.

"The seized evidence has been submitted to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory analysis. Meanwhile, a formal complaint for violations of Sections 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is being prepared against the suspect for submission to the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office," the SPD said.
