P350K shabu recovered in QCPD buy-bust

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) recovered over P350,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation along Navy Road, Veterans in Barangay Holy Spirit on Thursday, March 13.

Based on the police report, operatives from the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) and Holy Spirit Police Station 14 conducted a buy-bust operation after a concerned citizen reported the suspect's drug-peddling activities.

During the operation, an undercover police officer acted as a poseur buyer and bought P35,000 worth of shabu from the suspect which led to his arrest.

Operatives identified the suspect as Adam Lacambra Olivar, 32, a resident of Manila Hills, Montalban Rizal.

Recovered from the suspect were 51.64 grams of shabu worth P351,152, a cellular phone, a pouch, and the buy-bust money.

The suspect will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
