Fire and Ice LIVE!, the innovative production company founded by Liza Diño and Ice Seguerra, is thrilled to announce the limited rerun of their original stage play, "Choosing: We Are the Choice We Make" from June 6 to 15, 2025, at the Doreen Black Box Theater, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.

"Choosing" is a powerful theatrical experience that blends the personal stories of a real-life couple, Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño, with the diverse narratives of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Written by Liza Diño, with additional monologues contributed by Ice Seguerra, and directed by the acclaimed Dr. Anton Juan, this play is a profound exploration of identity, love, and the life-changing choices we make. Vincent A. De Jesus composed the poignant musical score, adding a soulful layer to the production.

The story follows the lives of Stella and Mitch, two individuals at the crossroads of their lives, facing identity and relationship struggles, and the pivotal choices that shape their future. With a raw, intimate portrayal of queer experiences, choosing challenges societal norms and delves deep into the complexity of the human experience.

The Company praised it for being “emotionally raw, messy, and complex.” Actress Sheila Francisco remarked, “It may well be the most significant piece of theater you’ll experience this
year.”
