Waiter arrested for possession of shabu in Taguig

The Taguig police arrested a 21-year-old waiter for possession of shabu during a buy-bust operation on March 11.

The police identified the suspect as alias Kyle who was arrested on Locust Street in Barangay Rizal, Taguig at about 9 p.m. operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit.

Found in his possession were 31.2 grams of shabu valued at P212,160, buy-bust money, boodle money, weighing scale, and a bundle of empty small plastic sachets.

The police will file a complaint against him for violations of Sections 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) and 12 (possession of equipment, instrument, apparatus and other paraphernalia for dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena commended the members of the operating team.
