Two armed drug suspects nabbed, P1.2M illegal drugs seized in Bulacan


The Guiguinto municipal police apprehended two suspected drug dealers and seized from them approximately 185.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,293,300.

The operation took place at around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, in Brgy. Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Also seized during the operation were one caliber .38 revolver loaded with three live bullets and the buy-bust money.

According to the police, the buy-bust operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in Guiguinto town which led to the arrest of alias "Bude" and "Tsong." 

Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in relation to the Omnibus Election Code are now being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.

"Our commitment to ensuring the safety of our community is steadfast, and we will relentlessly pursue the removal of all loose firearms being used by lawless individuals, particularly as we approach the upcoming 2025 elections," Col. Ediong said.
