Julia Barretto: I will not tolerate misinformation

Julia Barretto is not at all pleased relating accusations she had recently ordered the shutdown of a popular tourist spot in Camiguin for personal purposes.

The actress took to social media to issue a statement on the matter, deeming it "false."

Julia named a certain Nikka Kho as her accuser, going on to allege how the same person supposedly labeled her as  "entitled and selfish."

Julia maintained she was there upon the invitation of local leaders, encouraging her to  showcase the island's "rich history, culture, and natural beauty" via her travel vlog "Juju on the Go."

Julia added, "The coordination and management of the locations were entirely under the jurisdiction of the local government. To assume that I had the authority to dictate such decisions is both unfair and misleading."

Clearly offended, Julia went on to clarify, "While I usually do not engage with baseless accusations, I will not tolerate misinformation that misrepresents my character, my work, or the purpose of Juju On The Go."

Julia said she is currently seeking legal advice regarding the issue.

She also had a message to Nikka: "I hope neither you nor anyone in your life would have to experience the kind of unfounded attack and cruel words you have directed at me without having knowledge of what has transpired. Words have weight, and spreading misinformation can cause real harm."
