GAC Motor Philippines recognized for strong growth with two global awards

GAC Motor Philippines has been recognized with two prestigious awards at the 2025 GAC International Partner Conference. Led by Astara Philippines, the brand earned Gold Awards for both Outstanding Distributor of the Year 2024 and Outstanding Sales Department of 2024. These accolades highlight the company’s rapid growth, strong sales performance, and commitment to customer service.

GAC Motor International has seen significant global expansion, now present in 72 countries and regions. The company recorded a 97% increase in global retail performance, with the Asian market playing a key role in this growth. The Philippines has emerged as one of GAC Motor’s strongest markets, achieving 3,207 unit sales in 2024—a 65% increase from the previous year. This growth reflects a rising demand for the brand’s vehicles in the country.

One of the contributing factors to this success has been GAC Motor Philippines’ aggressive dealership network expansion. From just six dealerships in 2022, the network grew to 20 in 2023 and further expanded to 32 in 2024. This rapid expansion marks the fastest dealership growth within the global GAC network.

As part of its efforts to enhance operations, GAC Motor International has introduced the GAC Sales and Service Way (GSSW) training program. This initiative aims to refine sales and service processes, ensuring a better overall experience for customers.
Looking ahead, GAC Motor Philippines is expected to continue its upward trajectory. With a reinforced partnership with GAC Motor International, the company is set to offer improved products, competitive pricing, and a more refined ownership experience for Filipino customers.
