Man who stabbed his ex-wife 37 times in Las Piñas City admits he was on drugs, intoxicated

The man who killed his ex-wife, a public school teacher in Las Piñas City, with 37 stab wounds, told police investigators that he was under the influence of liquor and drugs when he committed the crime.
The suspect, identified as alias “Dennis,” 38, said that he went to the school where his ex-wife, identified as Rose, 51, works to talk to her but a heated argument ensued between them.
Dennis said that before going to Lydia National High School, he was already under the influence of liquor and also took marijuana.
He said that while they were inside the school faculty room, Rose avoided him, and a heated argument ensued. This allegedly triggered him to stab his ex-wife 37 times in the body.
Alis Dennis also told probers that in May 26, 2024, he caught his ex-wife with a man inside their house. This reportedly led to their separation.
The police said that during the arrest, alias Dennis was shouting that he is already dead and did not regret stabbing his ex-wife.
