According to DFA spokesperson Teresita Daza, Manalo and Fajon will tackle cooperative activities on trade and investment, science and technology, nuclear energy, maritime cooperation, sports, and labor during their meeting on Tuesday, March 11.
“Foreign Minister Fajon and the Secretary will exchange views on regional and global issues, highlighting the Philippines and Slovenia's shared commitment to the rule of law and a rules-based international order,” the DFA official said.
Daza added that the Slovenian foreign minister, together with the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, is also scheduled to meet with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) for the Slovenia-Philippine Business Forum “to promote and encourage collaborative activities among Philippine and Slovenian businesses.”

She will also take the opportunity to officially open the Slovenian Embassy in Manila, the first and currently the only Slovenian mission in Southeast Asia.
The foreign minister will also deliver a lecture at the Far Eastern University, Daza said.
