Senate Minority Leader Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III said that former President Rodrigo Duterte has proven that he's a "brave person" and will face any arrest warrants.

Pimentel said that on top of the rumors that an arrest warrant was reportedly issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Duterte.
"I am sure he will face any and all arrest warrants issued against him and fight these in the legal arena," the senator said in a statement Monday, March 10.
"However this is just theoretical, since I have no idea whether there is already an outstanding arrest warrant against him or not," he added.
Duterte recently defended anew his administration’s anti-illegal drugs campaign amid reports of a looming arrest warrant from the ICC.
He was present during a campaign sortie for Partido ng Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) senatorial candidates in Hong Kong on Sunday, March 9.
There, the former leader reiterated that he did everything during his term as president—not for himself and his family—but for the benefit of the Filipino people.
