Manhunt on for suspect behind shooting in Alfonso, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities are searching for a man who shot his drinking buddy in Alfonso, Cavite, on Sunday night, March 9.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A identified the suspect as alias Randy, 51 years old.

The initial investigation stated that alias Randy was having a drinking session with alias Dick, a 72-year-old retired security guard, when the incident took place.

A heated argument allegedly ensued between the two, which led to the shooting.

Alias Dick was rushed to the hospital for treatment while alias Randy fled.

The Alfonso Municipal Police Station (MPS) is already reviewing CCTV footage and conducting a dragnet operation to collar the suspect.
