Bugoy Cariño's mother emotional as she walks alongside the standee of her late husband during son's wedding march

Emotions were all over the place as Bugoy Cariño's mother, Remedios, walked down the aisle with her late husband's standee during the wedding of Bugoy and his longtime partner, EJ Laure, in Silang, Cavite on Sunday.

In the wedding video posted on Facebook, Bugoy can be seen walking down the aisle as he approaches his parents, who are waiting for him. He stops at the center, gives a thumbs up to a standee of his father, Rogel, and then grabs his father's hand as they proceed together toward the altar. Bugoy's mother couldn't help but feel emotional at this touching moment.

Bugoy's mother felt emotional during the wedding march. As EJ approached the aisle, Bugoy became overwhelmed with emotion.

After announcing their engagement in 2023, Bugoy and Ej, a long-time couple, exchanged vows with their family and friends at the St. John Marie Vianney Parish Church in Silang.

EJ, 27,  walked down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress and a leaf-patterned veil, while Bugoy, 22, looked dapper in a dark green tuxedo.

Bugoy posted some highlights from his wedding day on social media with the caption "THE WEDDING DAY."

The "Goin' Bulilit" alum and his mother became emotional during the ceremony as Bugoy walked down the aisle holding a standee of his father. When EJ approached the aisle, Bugoy couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple held their reception at an event's venue in Tagaytay. One of Bugoy's co-content creators, Jerly Mabaquiao, shared photos from the reception.

The age difference between the couple raised questions about their relationship. It can be recalled that there were rumors that the two started dating when Bugoy was only 15 while EJ was 20. 

Although not officially confirmed, Bugoy maintained his relationship with Laure and introduced their daughter, Scarlet, at his 18th birthday party.
