Police confiscated some P727,600 worth of shabu from a high-value drug suspect in Barangay Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City, on March 8.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, alias “Tol,” 42, was nabbed by members of the Las Piñas City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in a buy-bust operation.
Las Piñas Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla said SDEU members seized from Tol about 107 grams of shabu, three P100 bills used as buy-bust money, and a black pouch.
The suspect is now detained at Las Piñas City Police Station custodial facility. He was charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
