46th anniversary of the Islamic Republic of Iran

To commemorate the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Embassy of Iran in the Philippines hosted a reception on Feb. 6, at Shangri-La The Fort.

The ambassador of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh, honored the memory of the great leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him), and all the martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran who sacrificed their lives to preserve the honor and pride of Iran. “In these years, we have witnessed remarkable growth and development in Iran in all fields, including nanotechnology, communication technology, medicine, and agriculture. Undoubtedly, these successes have been the result of the unity of the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said. 

He further stated that the government and people of Iran, heirs to a civilization that is thousands of years old, have successfully added another golden chapter to Iran’s history with these remarkable achievements and that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been successful in the field of foreign policy by adhering to the principles of honor, prudence, and expediency under the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
Ambassador Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh highlighted that Masoud Pezeshkian's government has successfully established balanced relations with all governments and nations, including its neighbors, based on mutual respect and a coherent and efficient foreign policy.

He added that the expanding and strengthening relations with East Asian countries, including the Republic of the Philippines, which is known as a cultured, stable, and developing country, is one of the key goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy.

“Sixty years of unchallenged relations between Iran and the Philippines, demonstrate an approach based on mutual respect and understanding and we are confident that these strong relations will continue to grow and develop in various sectors in the future,” said Ambassador Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh.
