A week after their three-set loss to Far Eastern University, the Bulldogs regained their fiery form and gave the Red Warriors a dose of reality after momentarily losing their footing in the second set.

Alas Pilipinas hitter Buds Buddin took charge for NU with 16 points built on 13 attacks and three blocks along with five excellent digs and nine excellent receptions.
Leo Ordales and Leo Aringo Jr. pumped in 18 and 15 points, respectively, while Greg Ancheta had 14 excellent sets to power NU to its third win against one defeat.
Roy Piojo and John Steve Aligayon conspired for 33 points which all went down to the drain as the Red Warriors suffered their fourth loss in as many games.
UE also remained as the lone winless team in the men’s side.
Meanwhile, UST swept Ateneo, 25-18, 25-15, 25-23, for its third straight win.
Jan Macam and Al Gupiteo had 13 apiece while Jay De La Noche and Ed Colinares backed them up with 11 and 10 points, respectively, for UST which hiked its record to 3-1.
Adamson, on the other hand, slid to 1-3.
