Kevin Quiambao continued his splendid outing and steered the Goyang Sono Skygunners to a 92-82 overtime win over the Wonju DB Promy in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) Saturday, March 1.

After struggling in the first two quarters, the 23-year-old Quiambao took the matter into his hands and turned on the jets for the Skygunners in the fourth as they forced an extension after tying it at 75-all in regulation.
From there, Goyang erupted with a 17-7 run to seal the victory against the Ethan Alvano-led Wonju.

Lim Dong-Seop (17), D.J Burns (14), and Park Jong-Ha (13) provided ample support in the scoring department for the Skygunners, who hiked their record to 14-26 at ninth spot.
Alvano was all around with 25 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and one block in a losing effort as Wonju took its 22nd loss against 18 wins at sixth.
Meanwhile, the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters struck back and snapped the Changwon LG Sakers’ four-game winning streak via a 70-55 stunner.
Javi Gomez de Liano anchored the Red Boosters with 19 points and seven rebounds, outshining his fellow former UP Fighting Maroon Carl Tamayo, who registered 14 points and six rebounds.
Anyang hiked its record to 15-25 at seventh while Tamayo and Changwon still looked good at second while holding a 25-15 card.
In another game, SJ Belangel and the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus escaped the Seoul Samsung Thunders, 66-63, to snap their two-game slide.
