A historical wall mural was recently unveiled by the Mandaluyong City government in celebration of National Arts Month commemorated every February.
The event was led by Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos and other city government officials and representatives from the City Cultural Affairs, A-Plus Paints, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and the Guerilla Artists.
The mural features the colorful history and culture of the city symbolizing the residents' spirit of unity and perseverance.
These include the story of Manda and Luyong, Labandero Festival, first movement towards revolution, liberation from the Japanese occupants, Mandaluyong's cityhood celebration, and other milestones of the city.
